CertPT: Training of Trainers Disclaimer
Britishey Training Centre Ltd is a registered British company, Company No. 16463616, and a UK-approved learning provider, UKPRN: 10098455.
By enrolling on this programme, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
I confirm that I am physically, emotionally, and mentally able to take part in the CertPT: Training of Trainers course. I also confirm that I am living in a stable environment and that my personal, professional, or travel circumstances will not prevent me from attending the course, completing the required work, participating in tutorials, or submitting assessed tasks on time.
For face-to-face courses, I understand that travelling to and from Britishey Training Centre is my responsibility. For online courses, I understand that having stable internet access, a suitable device, a functioning camera and microphone, and a quiet learning environment is my responsibility.
I understand that Trinity College London’s Certificate for Practising Teachers, CertPT, is a Level 6 RQF continuing professional development qualification focused on evaluating, adapting, creating, and reflecting on teaching or training resources in my context.
I understand that the Britishey delivery I am joining is the Training of Trainers version. Therefore, the input sessions, tutorials, assessment support, and assessed tasks will reflect teacher-training contexts.
I understand that this is not an English language course. It is a professional development qualification for practising teachers and/or trainers. I will be expected to engage with professional reading, analyse resources, reflect on practice, and produce assessed written work at the required academic and professional standard.
I understand that the CertPT: Training of Trainers course requires serious commitment. I may need to complete independent study, professional reading, resource evaluation, resource adaptation, resource creation, written rationales, reflection, tutorials, and assessed tasks outside scheduled course hours.
I understand that failure to complete the required work, attend the required sessions, participate professionally, or submit tasks by the stated deadlines may affect my ability to complete the course or receive the qualification.
I understand that regular attendance and active participation are essential. I am expected to attend scheduled sessions, tutorials, workshops, feedback sessions, and any assessment support sessions, whether the course is delivered online or face-to-face.
For face-to-face delivery, I agree to attend all scheduled sessions and meet all submission deadlines.
For online delivery, I understand that live attendance, active participation, and on-time submissions are required. I am responsible for ensuring that I can access the required platforms and participate fully.
I understand that late submissions may not be accepted. If Britishey accepts late work, I understand that it may miss the cohort’s moderation window and may need to be deferred to a later moderation cycle at my own cost.
I understand that I must complete four assessed tasks:
Resource Evaluation
Rationale for an Adapted Resource
Rationale for an Original Resource
Reflection on Resource Use
I understand that each task has a published maximum word count or character count. Work that exceeds the maximum receives zero according to Trinity policy. Word counts must be clearly stated.
I understand that academic conventions, including organisation, referencing, citation, and authenticity, are mandatory.
I understand that I will be asked to sign an authenticity statement. Plagiarism, falsification, copying, or academic dishonesty may lead to disqualification.
I understand that all four tasks must achieve at least 8/16 at final moderation in order for the CertPT to be awarded.
I understand that internal task feedback may indicate whether my work is currently at pass level; however, all final outcomes remain subject to Trinity moderation.
I understand that my work is first internally assessed by Britishey assessors.
I understand that all internal marks are provisional until externally moderated by Trinity College London.
I understand that Trinity may confirm or change internal marks.
I understand that final results are issued only after Trinity moderation.
I understand that certificates are issued only once Trinity validates the outcome and releases the certificates to the centre.
I understand that the Trinity registration fee for the CertPT: Training of Trainers course is 200 USD.
I understand that this registration fee must be paid in USD.
I understand that the Trinity registration fee is separate from the course training fees. The course training fees cover the delivery of the CertPT: Training of Trainers course, standard internal assessment, tutorials, and course support. They do not include the Trinity registration fee unless Britishey Training Centre confirms otherwise in writing.
I understand that the Trinity registration fee must be paid before the start of the course. Failure to submit the Trinity registration fee before the course start date may delay or prevent my registration with Trinity College London and may delay or prevent my eligibility for moderation and certification.
I understand that if I am referred by Trinity, meaning that one to three tasks did not reach 8/16 at moderation, I may resubmit each referred task once only.
I understand that resubmission is a revision of the original task, not a brand-new task.
I understand that resubmissions must be completed and submitted within four weeks of the referral notification.
I understand that the resubmission fee is 80 USD per task.
I understand that resubmission fees must be paid before the resubmitted task can be forwarded for moderation.
I understand that resubmission fees are separate from course training fees and from the Trinity registration fee.
I understand that resubmission fees are non-refundable, irrespective of the final result.
I understand that if a resubmitted task still does not pass at moderation, the CertPT cannot be awarded for that set of work.
I understand that course training fees, Trinity registration fees, and any resubmission fees must be paid according to the deadlines set by Britishey Training Centre.
I understand that tuition fees cover teaching, standard internal assessment, tutorials, course support, and one moderation cycle, but they do not cover Trinity registration fees, resubmission fees, personal printing, connectivity, travel, or other incidental costs unless Britishey Training Centre confirms otherwise in writing.
I understand that course fees become non-refundable once the candidate’s interview is successful.
I understand that registration and resubmission fees are non-refundable once paid.
I understand that deferrals, where available, follow Britishey’s published policy and may require additional administrative fees and/or alignment to future cohorts.
I understand that placement in the same schedule, delivery mode, cohort, or tutor team is not guaranteed if a deferral is approved.
I understand that all submitted work must be my own.
I must not copy from websites, books, articles, other candidates, previous candidates, AI tools, or any other source without proper acknowledgement.
I understand that plagiarism, copying, falsification of work, submitting someone else’s work, or submitting work produced dishonestly may result in disqualification, withdrawal from the course, or loss of eligibility for certification.
I understand that generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, or similar tools, may only be used responsibly and transparently.
Acceptable AI use may include:
Generating initial ideas
Exploring possible training or teaching resource ideas
Carrying out initial research into a topic
Producing reading lists or reference suggestions
Supporting brainstorming before producing my own work
However, I understand that AI-generated work must not be submitted as my own work.
Any use of AI in assessed tasks, rationales, reflections, resource design, or supporting documents must be clearly acknowledged and referenced.
I understand that hidden, unreferenced, or dishonest use of AI will be treated as academic malpractice.
I understand that Britishey Training Centre has the right to reject work, request resubmission, investigate suspected malpractice, or withdraw a candidate from the course if academic dishonesty is suspected or confirmed.
I understand that all assessed tasks must meet the required standard for the qualification.
I understand that I may be asked to revise or improve work during the course based on tutor guidance and internal feedback.
I understand that internal feedback does not guarantee a final pass, as all outcomes are subject to Trinity moderation.
I understand that repeated failure to meet task requirements, deadlines, word counts, referencing standards, or authenticity requirements may affect my ability to complete the course or receive certification.
I understand that I will receive feedback from tutors and may also receive feedback from peers.
I agree to respond to feedback professionally, respectfully, and reflectively.
I understand that I am expected to maintain professional conduct throughout the course, including during online sessions, face-to-face sessions, tutorials, group work, written communication, feedback discussions, and communication with administrative staff.
Disrespectful, aggressive, dishonest, or unprofessional behaviour may result in removal from the course.
For online courses, I confirm that I have the digital skills required to attend live sessions, access course materials, submit tasks, communicate with tutors, and participate in online learning activities.
For face-to-face courses, I understand that some parts of the course may still require online access, digital submission, email communication, or use of a learning platform.
I understand that technical problems with my device, internet connection, email, camera, microphone, or learning platform access are my responsibility unless the issue is caused directly by Britishey Training Centre.
I understand that my progress will be monitored throughout the course.
This may include attendance, participation, tutorial engagement, task preparation, task submission, academic writing, referencing, professionalism, and response to feedback.
I understand that completing the course input sessions does not automatically guarantee certification.
I understand that certification depends on completing all required tasks, meeting Trinity requirements, paying all required fees, and passing final Trinity moderation.
If I require reasonable adjustments, including accessibility support or learning-difference support, I agree to notify Britishey before the course begins or as early as possible.
I understand that supporting documentation may be required so that Britishey can liaise with Trinity where necessary.
I understand that Britishey upholds safeguarding, equality of opportunity, and data-protection standards.
I understand that my work and data may be shared securely with Trinity College London for moderation, administration, certification, and quality assurance purposes.
I am responsible for my own health, safety, and well-being during the course.
For face-to-face courses, I agree to follow the health and safety rules of Britishey Training Centre.
For online courses, I am responsible for ensuring that my learning environment is safe and suitable.
Britishey Training Centre will not be held liable for absences, delays, missed deadlines, missed moderation windows, or course interruptions caused by illness, infection, personal emergencies, travel issues, technical problems, or circumstances outside the centre’s control.
I understand that certification is not automatic and depends on Trinity’s final moderation.
I understand that certificates are issued to the centre after validation.
I understand that Britishey Training Centre will notify me when my certificate is ready for collection or dispatch.
I understand that certificate issuance may take time and may depend on Trinity College London’s procedures and timelines.
I understand that Britishey Training Centre is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete candidate work, late payments, incorrect candidate details, external processing timelines, missed deadlines, or failure to meet certification requirements.
For academic queries, including tasks, feedback, and deadlines, I should contact my course tutor.
For fees and payments, I should contact: info@www.britishey.com.
I confirm that I have read and understood this disclaimer, including the requirements for assessment, internal marking, Trinity moderation, registration fees, resubmission fees, academic integrity, AI use, attendance, participation, deadlines, deferrals, and certification.
I understand that the Trinity registration fee is 200 USD and that it is separate from the course training fees.
I understand that if I am referred by Trinity, the resubmission fee is 80 USD per task.
I understand that registration and resubmission fees must be paid before the relevant registration or resubmission can be processed.
I agree to comply with Britishey Training Centre and Trinity College London policies throughout the course.
