This course is designed to prepare teachers to deliver effective IELTS preparation classes for students aiming to sit the IELTS Academic and/or General Training examination.
I understand that the How to Teach IELTS course is a teacher-training course. It is not an IELTS preparation course for test takers.
The course is designed to help teachers develop the knowledge, skills, techniques, and classroom procedures needed to teach IELTS preparation classes effectively.
I understand that the course may cover IELTS test format, task types, assessment criteria, lesson planning, materials adaptation, learner support, feedback techniques, classroom procedures, and strategies for helping students improve their performance in IELTS Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

I understand that the course prepares me as a teacher, but it does not make me an official IELTS examiner, IELTS representative, or employee of any IELTS test provider.
I understand that Britishey Training Centre does not claim official ownership of, or formal affiliation with, IELTS, the British Council, IDP IELTS, Cambridge, or any official IELTS test provider unless explicitly stated in writing.
The name IELTS is used only to describe the type of examination the course prepares teachers to teach.
I understand that IELTS formats, policies, band descriptors, registration rules, and assessment procedures may change, and I am responsible for keeping up to date with official IELTS information from the relevant official sources.
I understand that the How to Teach IELTS course is accredited by the American Accreditation Association.
I understand that the internationally accredited certificate is issued only after I have successfully completed the course requirements and fulfilled all relevant payment and administrative requirements.
I understand that the fee for the internationally accredited certificate is separate from the course training fees.
The international certificate fee is 150 USD.
I understand that this fee must be paid in US dollars before the start of the course.
I understand that failure to pay the international certificate fee before the course starts may result in not being registered for, or not receiving, the internationally accredited certificate.
I confirm that I have a sufficient level of English and teaching awareness to cope with the course.
I understand that this course is intended for teachers, teacher trainees, or education professionals who wish to develop their ability to teach IELTS preparation classes.
I understand that I may need to revise grammar, vocabulary, academic writing, speaking assessment criteria, reading subskills, listening subskills, and exam-teaching methodology during the course.
I understand that the course requires regular attendance, active participation, independent study, and completion of any tasks, assignments, lesson plans, quizzes, reflections, or teaching-related work required by Britishey Training Centre.
I understand that attendance alone is not enough to benefit from the course. My progress will depend on my preparation, participation, reflection, and ability to apply tutor feedback.
I agree to attend all scheduled sessions punctually and to participate professionally.
I understand that absence, lateness, lack of preparation, or failure to complete course tasks may affect my performance and may prevent me from receiving the course completion certificate or the internationally accredited certificate where applicable.
Britishey Training Centre is not responsible for any learning gaps caused by my absence, lateness, poor engagement, or failure to complete required work.
I understand that the course may include assessed or monitored components, such as:
I understand that I must meet the required course standards, complete the required tasks, and demonstrate appropriate professional conduct in order to be eligible for certification.
I understand that course training fees must be paid according to the payment terms agreed with Britishey Training Centre.
I understand that the course fee and the international certificate fee are separate payments.
I understand that once enrolled, course fees are non-refundable, including in cases of withdrawal for personal, professional, health-related, academic, scheduling, or technical reasons.
I also understand that failure to attend, failure to complete course tasks, or failure to meet certification requirements does not entitle me to a refund.
I understand that certificates are issued only after all relevant course requirements have been completed and all required fees have been paid.
I understand that the internationally accredited certificate is subject to the requirements and procedures of the American Accreditation Association and Britishey Training Centre’s internal quality assurance procedures.
I understand that certificate issuance may take time after course completion and is not immediate unless explicitly stated in writing.
I understand that completing this course does not guarantee employment, promotion, private students, work with IELTS preparation centres, or any specific income.
The course is intended to support my professional development and improve my ability to teach IELTS preparation classes, but my future employment opportunities depend on my qualifications, experience, teaching performance, market conditions, and employer requirements.
I understand that this course trains teachers to deliver IELTS preparation classes, but it does not guarantee that any students I teach will achieve a particular IELTS band score.
Student results depend on many factors, including the student’s language level, attendance, motivation, study habits, exam readiness, test anxiety, and performance on exam day.
I understand that all submitted work must be my own.
I agree not to plagiarise, copy, submit another person’s work, or present AI-generated content as my own.
I understand that academic dishonesty, unprofessional behaviour, disrespectful communication, or serious misconduct may result in removal from the course without refund.
Britishey Training Centre recognises that generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and similar tools may support learning when used appropriately.

I understand that all course materials provided by Britishey Training Centre are for my personal study and professional development only.
I agree not to copy, share, upload, sell, distribute, reproduce, or use these materials commercially without written permission from Britishey Training Centre.
I also understand that any official IELTS materials, sample questions, band descriptors, or third-party resources used during the course remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
I confirm that I have sufficient digital skills and access to the necessary technology to participate in the course.
This includes having a suitable device, reliable internet connection, and the ability to access online platforms, course materials, communication channels, and submitted tasks as required.
Britishey Training Centre is not responsible for missed learning caused by my technical problems, internet issues, device failure, or inability to access required platforms.
I confirm that I am physically, emotionally, and mentally able to participate in the course.
I understand that I am responsible for managing my own health, well-being, workload, and personal circumstances during the course.
Britishey Training Centre will not be held responsible for absence, delay, withdrawal, or incomplete work caused by personal, health-related, professional, or family circumstances.
A deferral may be considered only in exceptional circumstances and remains subject to Britishey Training Centre’s discretion.
Deferrals are not automatic. They may depend on the timing of the request, the candidate’s attendance, engagement, payment status, course progress, future course availability, and administrative considerations.
If approved, the candidate may be transferred to a future course, subject to availability and any additional conditions set by Britishey Training Centre.
