Britishey Training Centre is delighted to welcome Valeria Tiurina as a CELTA tutor, bringing with her a strong academic background and extensive teaching and training experience. Valeria holds a BA in Linguistics and Foreign Languages as well as an MA in Law, both awarded with distinction. She is also a Cambridge CELTA Grade A holder and has successfully completed all three modules of the DELTA, including a Merit in Module 3. In addition, she has achieved the highest levels of English proficiency with both the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) and the Cambridge Advanced Certificate (CAE).

Since becoming an authorised CELTA tutor in 2021, Valeria has taken an active role in teacher training, supporting candidates through the demanding stages of the course. Her work includes conducting entrance interviews, delivering input sessions across skills and systems, and observing and assessing teaching practice. She is especially skilled at providing constructive feedback and developmental guidance, ensuring that trainees leave the course with confidence and practical classroom skills.

Alongside her role as a CELTA tutor, Valeria has taught English to learners of all ages and levels, from general English and exam preparation to business and ESP courses. She has also coordinated teachers, designed syllabi, and delivered a wide range of professional development workshops, particularly on managing mixed-ability and multicultural classes.

Valeria’s professionalism, academic expertise, and supportive approach make her a valuable addition to Britishey Training Centre’s team. Her presence will enrich our CELTA programmes and inspire both teachers in training and colleagues alike.
